Xero Sum opened for everyone. KJ looked hot (as always), the guys were really on, and they warmed up the crowd. Best show they’ve put on. Then the other opener came on – I Nine. They were ok – I wouldn’t say they were the best to open right before Hurt because I felt like they didn’t have enough energy to keep it going from Xero Sum.
Then Hurt came on. Again, J.Loren hops off stage and sings from the middle of the standing room crowd, and then on top of the bar. He let lesbian butches grab his ass, paw at his legs and pull his arms. It really must take a rock star to put up with that abuse.
I enjoyed the close, intimate setting, their crowd interaction, and the set was great. It’s been a long time since I got this hyped for a show, and it was completely worth staying up late. After, they stayed around, met the fans and signed autographs and let people take pics with them. Hurt and Lacuna Coil are the best group of major label musicians I’ve met so far.
