Bambi is an internet friend of mine, we met on the SomethingAwful forums. She lives in Anderson so really just up the road from me, but I’ve never met her in person. Well there was one time I tried, but she wasn’t actually at work. So she’s having a baby girl, so I wanted to test out my skills at making stuff by surprising her with a diaper bag. Only, I couldn’t wait for it to just arrive on her doorstep, so I sort of ruined the surprise a few days ago when it was about 80% done and sent pictures through email. Since she knows about it now, here it is for everyone else to see.

I really -love- this! I found your bag from another website.. but I was curious to ask a question. In the Simplicity 2924 pattern you mentioned.. what do they want you to use all that interfacing for? (They call for 2 1/8 yrds by 25 inches)
I’m having a son in november and I want a really nice diaper bag without paying a fortune! Your pictures have given me the initiative to try to make my own.. but I don’t want to end up spending a fortune on the stuff the pattern calls for, if you know what I mean.
