About

July 5, 2006

For those of you who aren’t familiar with me yet, my name is Heather Burdette. I grew up and live in Westfield, Indiana, but for 5 years Johnson City, Tennessee was my home. I went to college there, where I got my Bachelors in computer science, with a concentration in information technology. After a semester of graduate school, I decided school and Tennessee weren’t for me any longer, so I moved home in May, 2004. I am currently a systems administrator (Windows + Linux) at a university in Indianapolis. I also have my own business as a photographer in the Hamilton County/Indianapolis area.  For more information see La Bella Flor Photography.

I’m a self professed computer geek and you can find me online with the name aericina (chat clients or other).

For the last few years I have expanded my hobbies.  I’ve moved away from computer activities and branched out into photography, painting, sewing my own clothing and accessories to a brand new thing:  roller derby!  I skate with the Naptown Roller Girls league as a referee and although I don’t take as many hits as the girls do, I am still on quads and can get run over at a moments notice.  We currently skate in the Pepsi Coliseum at the Indiana State Fair Grounds once a month and I highly advise you to check it out.

Personally I have three cats, a dog, a husband but no children.  When would I find the time for such things??
